 There are 3 types of Mobility Scooters Mini, Medium and large,

Mini Prism, Travel & Boot sized mobility scooters have been designed to be very light and easy to disassemble. These scooters can have a range of up to 15-20 miles between charges. Its features make them the ideal scooter to put in & out of your car boot on a regular basis, this makes the Mini scooter ideal to bring shopping or on holidays.

Medium mobility scooters are for users that want to ride to there local shops go in the shop and ride home afterwards. There bigger pneumatic tyres enable them to handle small kerbs and pot holes much better than mini scooters. You are able to disassemble these scooters however there not as easy as the mini ones also there parts are much larger and considerably heavier.

Large mobility scooters are also know as class 3 scooters which are idea for travelling quite large distances, some up to 40 miles. Nearly all large scooters have sprung rear suspension and articulating suspension at the front however some higher end models feature fully independent front suspension which results in a superior ride. Most large scooters travel between 6 - 8mph.
